You’ll join a multicultural team of six talented Technical Support Experts based in Amsterdam, dedicated to supporting cutting-edge payment solutions. The team operates 24/7, ensuring continuous service for our clients across the BeNeLux region, Germany, and France.
💥 Your impact
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Team Lead to oversee our team of Monitoring Specialists. This team is crucial for providing technical support and executing the incident management process in line with ITIL standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the finance sector and a proven track record of leading technical support teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Monitoring Specialists to ensure efficient and effective technical support
- Oversee the execution of the incident management process according to ITIL standards, ensuring swift resolution of incidents
- Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other teams, including IT, DevOps, and business units, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of major incidents
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and workflows related to monitoring and incident management
- Push for quality-drive documentation of incidents, RCAs and Post-Mortems within the agreed SLA timeframe
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of team members

🕵🏻♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the finance sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German or Dutch or any additional European languages is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices in incident management
- Proven experience in technical support and monitoring systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus
- Strong affinity with modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, and proficient in using ticketing systems like Jira
