🔎 What's in it for you

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead a crucial new project from scratch for EPI. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in product management, particularly within the fintech or payments industry. You will be responsible for setting and communicating a compelling product vision, managing the strategic roadmap, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

🐝 About the team

You’ll be part of a Pan-European Product and Engineering team that operates in an Agile environment. You’ll work closely — but fully remotely — with the Product Manager and experts in Product Design, Web Dev, Mobile Dev, Backend Dev, QA and DevOps from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, and other European locations.

💥 Your impact

Product Leadership, Strategy & Vision:

• Set and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with company objectives
• Define and manage an overarching strategic roadmap for our initiative, including key milestones, features, and product enhancements
• Prioritize features based on ROI, user needs, and market demand, understanding how product choices impact business metrics
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends, competitor analysis, and user feedback through data-driven research to optimize and develop product performance
• Continuously report to the Head of Product about the current status of the product development cycle 

Internal and External Collaboration:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and other teams to translate insights into actionable development tasks
• Make trade-offs between technical constraints and product features, ensuring alignment between engineering and product vision
• Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and customer support
• Work with EPI's Member banks to align on the strategic roadmap and future development possibilities
• Represent EPI and its interests towards internal and external stakeholders

 🕵🏻‍♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in fintech or payments
• Experience with digital wallet payment product development to tune and prioritize the payment strategy and actively manage the product backlog
• Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2) is mandatory; French, German, Dutch, or any additional European languages is a plus
• Experience with contactless payments or digitized cards is a plus
• Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
