💥 Your impact

• Ensure the compliance of the EPI AML framework with the regulations (e.g. AML Directive, AML Belgian law and other local transpositions)
• Maintain the set of policies and procedures: AML Policy, AML Procedures, Risk Assessment, scoring rules / scenarios
• Perform the AML level 2 controls
• Perform reporting (internal, external) on the AML framework, notably for senior management
• Anticipate any change in the regulations
• Oversee the transaction monitoring system and perform level 2 analysis
• Supervise the AML level 1 team (outsourced)
• Liaise with the internal stakeholders and the EPI branches AML Officers
• Liaise with the EPI members' AML teams
• Liaise with the Authorities and Oversights (CTIF-CFI, NBB)
  

✅ If you had joined us last month, here’s what you could have done

• Updating the AML Policy, the Risk assessments (BWRA, IRA) and the scoring rules notably
• Contributing to the configurations of the AML software
• Liaising with the AML Officers of our ecosystem

🕵🏻‍♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in an AML role within a Payment or Banking company
• Extensive knowledge of AML Directives and the Belgian AML Law (at least)
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel (incl. pivot tables) and Powerpoint
• Holding an ACAMS certification is mandatory
• Hold European citizenship and be a permanent resident of Belgium
• Proficient in English and at least French or Dutch
• Thrive in a remote-first, multicultural environment

🐝 About the team

You will report directly to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, in a small and highly skilled team. You will work with other Risk and Compliance colleagues, focusing on Risk management framework and Compliance topics.
For legal and compliance reasons, you will be expected to be based and work in Belgium.
