🔎 What's in it for you
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Lead to manage our Business Operations. This role is crucial for translating Business monitoring data into actions in collaboration with the EPI scheme members, Payment Service Providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the financial sector and a proven track record of operating as a Settlement Monitoring specialist, familiar with SCT Inst requirements.
🐝 About the team
You’ll join the Operations Services & Delivery team, which plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The team is small and focused, consisting of two members, and you will take the lead in managing Business Operations. This means working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners like EPI scheme members and Payment Service Providers to translate monitoring data into actionable steps.
💥 Your impact
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business analysts to ensure efficient and effective analyses & data driven actions
- Track and analyze key performance metrics for the operations team and business processes
- Build powerful dashboards and frameworks to enable efficient analysis and translation of business and technical data
- Understand the various anomalies in the payments and provide insights on various patterns
- Collaborate with EPI scheme members for improvements in the conversion rate of various members by understanding the data present in EPI systems
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvements of EPI capabilities over the Settlement layer
🕵🏻♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Settlement and monitoring at a large bank or a payment organization
- Experience in setting up a new team and defining its goals clearly
- Excellent knowledge of SCT Inst framework
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Also, to be able to translate data into action
- Very good project management skills for the definition and the steering of action plans and reporting
- Very good communication skills, capable of onboarding external stakeholders into quick problem solving and swift action taking
- Communicate updates, risks, and mitigation plans effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools like Databricks, Jira, and Tableau.
- Strong understanding of business processes, KPIs, and operational efficiency frameworks
- You worked with both SQL and NoSQL databases and understand the difference between them
- Alongside strong technical expertise, you demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively and providing patient support to colleagues across all levels
