As our QA Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating product quality to new heights. Acting as a transversal expert, you'll harmonize QA processes across our organization, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment. Your primary focus will be on setting up and enhancing our end-to-end automation test environment, driving continual improvement and ultimately delivering exceptional products to our customers.

- Define and implement the overarching QA strategy for the distributed development process
- Establish and uphold consistent QA standards across development teams
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive integration and system-level testing
- Identify areas for improvement in the QA processes for distributed teams
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools across diverse environments
- Continuously enhance the tools and frameworks as the products evolve
- Provide technical guidance for automated testing, both for backend and frontend

Throughout these two days, we unite in a virtual setting to strategise and lay down the groundwork for our quarterly plans, empowering us to launch into the new quarter with precision and determination.
💻 Technology stack
- Backend: Microservices in Kotlin using KTOR as a framework, Kubernetes & AWS, MongoDB, RESTful JSON APIs, ...
- Methodologies: Event-driven architecture, Infrastructure-as-Code
- Web (frontend): TypeScript, Next.js, React.js, Material UI (MUI), Hyperfetch, Storybook
- Mobile: Native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) apps
🕵🏻♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience in the payment or financial services industry is a plus
- Minimum 6 years of demonstrated experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and execution
- Proficiency in leading and mentoring QA Engineers
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and Playwright
- Ability to conduct mobile testing using (Appium and XCTest), as well as security testing using (OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite)
- Expertise in API testing with tools like Postman and RestAssured, as well as proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI

You’ll be part of a Pan-European Product and Engineering team that operates in an Agile environment. You’ll work closely — but fully remotely — with experts in Web Dev, Mobile Dev, Backend Dev, QA and DevOps from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, and other European locations.
