🔎 What's in it for you
As part of our BI team (in the Finance department), you will be responsible for analysing and reporting on various data sets to provide valuable insights to our team.
This assignment provides a comprehensive learning experience and overview of the business, combining analytics, finance, and regulatory matters.
You will need to be available 4 or 5 days per week, for a minimum of 4 months, including 1 to 3 days a week in our Amsterdam office.
💥 Your impact
- Collect and analyse large data sets using tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python
- Create reports and dashboards using visualization tools such as Power BI
- Assist in reviewing segregated account entries and classification to ensure adequate treatment as per applicable regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address data-related issues and opportunities
- Work closely with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure process integrity
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all analyses and reports
- Present findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders
💻 Technology stack
SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python
🕵🏻♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field in The Netherlands
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools; knowledge of SQL or Python is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (any other European language is a plus)
- Thrive in a fully remote, multicultural environment
- The following requirements are a plus:
- Experience working with large datasets
- Basic understanding of payment industry, regulatory environments, and accounting principles
