🐝 About the team
You will be part of the Finance team, including people who joined the EPI adventure at the beginning and other coming from Payconiq, company which recently merged with EPI. Half of the 15 team members are senior contributors or managers with a rich expertise. Benno, the CFO, himself has more than 20 years of experience, including 14 as a Finance Manager, Director or Chief. Team members are located in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Belgium, and other EPI colleagues all around Europe.
💥 Your impact
As the right arm of the CFO, you will:
- Be the catalyst of the Finance team activity: coordinating your colleagues on specific missions, serving as subject matter expert, handling inquiries, defining priorities
- Play a key role in the preparation and facilitation of some key governance meetings (e.g. Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Management/Executive Meetings...) by gathering key inputs, building top-notch presentations to aid decision-making and following up closely on key takeaways. You may also be invited to present during some of these meetings
- Heavily contribute to our increasing needs of complex financial analysis & models, to convert data into insights
- Participate in our M&A follow-up
✅ If you had joined us last month, here’s what you could have done
- Coordinated the quarterly Financial update to the Board of Directors including coordination within the Finance team and various other departments to update the 3-year business plan
- Participated driving in the automation of the Procure-to-Pay process involving Finance, HR and the Legal team
- Assisted in modelling three forward-looking models for capacity and financial planning over the next three years
- Participated in weekly-touchpoints with CEO and other key Group Management meeting members
- Coordinated key day-to-day matters involving the CFO’s contribution across the group
🕵🏻♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
- You are fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2)
- You have at least 3 years’ experience in strategy consulting (experience in payments would be highly considered) or in the Financial planning and analysis or similar department of a bank or insurance company
- You already built Target Operating Models or were involved in due diligence/M&A process
- You have Financial Reporting and/or modelling experience linked to Company corporate reporting
- You can demonstrate impressive skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- You are great at building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and able to handle confidential information sensitively
- You can demonstrate strong autonomy and vigilance to address emerging topics and challenges
- You are able to quickly understand difficult topics in detail, while being structured and data oriented
- You are able to thrive in a largely remote and multicultural working environment
