🐝 About the team
On this position You will report directly to the EPI SE Risk & Internal Control Officer, in a small and highly skilled team. You will work with other colleagues, focusing on risk management, internal control, business continuity and compliance notably.
💥 Your impact
Reporting directly to the EPI SE Risk & Internal Control Officer, you will notably:
Steer our controls
Monitoring the level 1 controls, collecting their results and supporting the managers.
Designing, planning and performing the level 2 controls, on a risk-driven approach.
Monitoring other level 2 controls performed in the company by the group DPO and the group CISO on the scope of EPI Operations BV.
Contribute to the continuous identification, assessment, and documentation of risks in the risk register (on the scope of EPI OPs)
Maintain the Key Risk Indicators (on the scope of EPI Ops)
Define and monitor risk mitigation plans (on the scope of EPI OPs).
Contribute to the risk reporting presented during the EPI Operations BV Supervisory Board.
Monitor risk appetite thresholds and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are raised
Contribute to risk and internal control awareness initiatives
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the function
Liaise with the relevant stakeholders across the 3 lines of defense, in which

EPI SE Chief Risk & Compliance Officer
🕵🏻♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
3+ years of experience in Risk Management or Internal Control, ideally within Payments, Banking, or FinTech.
Good understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO) and the Three Lines of Defense.
Experience working with senior stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, IT Security, etc).
Prior experience preparing risk dashboards, reports, and board-level summaries.
Familiarity with regulatory environments
Fluent in English (both written and spoken); any additional European language is a strong plus.
Experience with Jira
Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German, Dutch, or other European languages are a plus
