🐝 About the team

On this position You will report directly to the EPI SE Risk & Internal Control Officer, in a small and highly skilled team. You will work with other colleagues, focusing on risk management, internal control, business continuity and compliance notably.

💥 Your impact

Reporting directly to the EPI SE Risk & Internal Control Officer, you will notably:

• Steer our controls

  • Monitoring the level 1 controls, collecting their results and supporting the managers.

  • Designing, planning and performing the level 2 controls, on a risk-driven approach.

  • Monitoring other level 2 controls performed in the company by the group DPO and the group CISO on the scope of EPI Operations BV.

• Contribute to the continuous identification, assessment, and documentation of risks in the risk register (on the scope of EPI OPs)

• Maintain the Key Risk Indicators (on the scope of EPI Ops)

• Define and monitor risk mitigation plans (on the scope of EPI OPs).

• Contribute to the risk reporting presented during the EPI Operations BV Supervisory Board.

• Monitor risk appetite thresholds and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are raised

• Contribute to risk and internal control awareness initiatives

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the function

• Liaise with the relevant stakeholders across the 3 lines of defense, in which

  • EPI SE Compliance Officer

  • EPI SE Business Continuity Manager

  • EPI SE Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

🕵🏻‍♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Risk Management or Internal Control, ideally within Payments, Banking, or FinTech.

• Good understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO) and the Three Lines of Defense.

• Experience working with senior stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, IT Security, etc).

• Prior experience preparing risk dashboards, reports, and board-level summaries.

• Familiarity with regulatory environments

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); any additional European language is a strong plus.

• Experience with Jira

• Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German, Dutch, or other European languages are a plus

• Thrive in a remote-first, multicultural environment
